I am looking for any information on Margarete BRIDE (b-ca 1835, France). She married Michael SOMERS on 12 Apr 1852 in Woodford Co, IL. They had 8 children, all born in Woodford Co. In 1871, the family moved to Champaign Co, IL, where both Margarete and Michael died. They are buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Crittenden Twp., Champaign Co, IL. Margarete died 8 Jan 1884. Michael died in 1882. Their son-in-law, Aloys HETTINGER, became the guardian of the youngest daughter, Nellie Ellen SOMERS. Does anyone know if Frank BRIDE and Theresa BRIDE JACQUIN were siblings of Margarete? Thank you for any information you can provide.

Could someone look at an index of Maplewood Cemetery for the name of Musettie Vinnie BROWN - her brother was Courtney. Also looking for the grave of her father, Isaac BROWN. We have a picture of Vinnie's grave with stone and a note on the picture says "Mr. and Mrs. MARTIN are nearby". Looking for William and Caroline MARTIN who died in 1878. If we find Vinnie who died after 1900, then we find her grandparents that have been eluding us. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

John Frederick's (Fred) parents were August F. (b-18 Feb 1834; d-30 Jan 1911) and Louisa (HERMSMEIER) BUDDEMEIER (b-1882; d-26 Jul 1897) of Sidney, Champaign Co, IL. A John ZENTNER, kicked in head by horse, dies about 1870, supposedly in Davenport, IA. No records of that in Davenport! I believe some ZENTNERS lived in Champaign about that time and may have been his kin-folk, who took care of him till the end, and he may have been buried in Champaign or nearby. Any assistance would be appreciated. I will be in IL the end of August and could pass through the village⁄town⁄city that may have ZENTNER descendants.
