Bernard's father was Edmund great grandmother was named Katherine Lynch. She lived and died in Champaign. Her son was Bernard Curry who was born in 1899. Bernard's father's name was Edmund or Edward Curry. My father is named Lyle Curry. My father is now 72 years old. He said that his parents told him that Bernard came to Iowa to live when he was 14 years old. He did not speak much of his family and my father tells me that at that time you did not question your parents further. Now that he is older he is most interested to know more about his own father and has no information. He has so little to go on. He was going to visit his grandmother when he was younger and she was always referred to as Grandma Gehrig. She died before his visit but he does know she died in Champaign. He doesn't know if Katherine was married to Edmund or not and what Mr. Gehrig's name might be. I would be most appreciative of any help that you might give. I would so love to be able to help my father learn more about his own father. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
